Word of caution, mine arrived busted. Luckily, I checked before signing for delivery. FedEx delivered my package. The outside box looked fine so I would recommend opening it up just to be sure. I eventually purchased from greentoe who used a small courier company.

It's strangely charging me 10% sales tax in NYC when the sales tax here is 8.8725% - anyone know why?

From what I remember glancing over a while back, is that Goog will unapologetically overcharge tax to be sure it's covered, then reimburse it with a credit.

Can someone confirm that?

I purchased this TV on blackfriday from buydig via google shopping. It arrived Mid December delivered in perfect condition, TV had very little usage as it was holiday time and we were in and out of town. Just few days ago screen went bad with horizontal lines all over, as return period to buydig was over(Jan 31), had to call LG with warranty claim. LG verified purchase with receipt , made appointment with Technician to come next day, Technician ordered New Panel and it was installed yesterday. My advice to people buying this TV, buy it from authorized retailer and stay away from firstclasstv etc for peace of mind.

Picked one up for 1833.00 (7.5% tax in NE). Does anyone have any 3rd party warranties I can purchase to cover this? Looks like Asurion/Squaretrade only apply to purchases via Amazon/eBay.
