Samsung q90r is the closest LED TV to OLED.

How do you like it? I have 2 years earlier and it's dope but I'm on the hunt for a tv for my bedroom & at this point I'm feeling I might wanna step to OLED instead of led
I love it, its the first TV I've purchased in 9ish years so it is a huge upgrade for me. My buddy has the 850 and it's a big upgrade over that model. Movies and sports are pretty awesome on it, zero complaints. I'm not a gamer so I can't really comment on that. You or your guests won't be disappointed.

I've wired it to my router (instead of wifi) and have had no problems with it being slow or laggy.

I haven't messed with the settings much either so I'm sure I could even get it to look better, I'm easy to please and super happy with it.

This first seller that has this at 1200 is going to make a killing.
They lose $25 per TV sold, but they'll make up for it in volume

You win the award with that logic there... So if they lose $25 per TV sold, what exactly is it that they would make up in volume? Sell 1,000 and then be at a total loss of $25,000?

Selling at razor thin margins can be made up with volume, but not selling below cost.
you win the award for not understanding sarcasm .🙄🙄

First time hearing about Pricewaiter but it sounds just like Greentoe. The only difference is that I'm not seeing any mention of authorized dealers or warranties on their site.

Hi free_ballin, all of our products are shipped via authorized retailers with the full manufacturer warranty. There's a badge underneath the MSRP on our product pages that state that the products are from authorized retailers. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions or issues!

Best,

I just checked the same TV on Greentoe and got a counter slightly lower. But, I am leaning towards the OLED and they have a crazy deal on that right now. On the fence, trying to decide.

Can't compare LED to OLED. OLED are the best the only down side are the Burn in that you needs to worry about coming from LG C9 owner.
I have the OLED77 and have yet to see any burn-in. I really think OLED is just light years superior to LED too. I have an LED as well and it doesn't match up. But, the LED is an older model too though.

Well in that case don't count on ever getting a OLED, that's just part of the technology that can't really change.

Unfortunately people blow burn in out of proportion all the time.
If you don't calibrate your tv(you should always do that to any tv) and watch the same image for many hours a day for months then you should not have no problems.
That's my opinion from having a 9th gen KURO for about 10 years and an OLED for 2.
As a matter of fact the technology has improved and less chance now then back then.

I have to admit, I am surprised that people do the things to even achieve "Burn-in". For example, you know when your screen goes into "sleep" mode and you have Directv and the Directv logo is displayed on the screen? Does that cause burn in? The logo moves around the screen. However, it lands in the same exact spots.

Well I would guess it could in time if left that way for months.
It's pretty much like the Screen Shift setting that shifts the picture on a regular intervals.
You also have Logo Luminance Adjustment and Clear Panel Noise to help with the possibility.
Never had those on our KURO.

I do agree with you. Take for instance playing videos games for that many hours or letting your kids watch the cartoon channel for that long!

IMO there might other priorities to worry about there other than the possibility of burn-in.

I'm telling people how to parent or what to do with their time but if you fall under those parameters, OLED tv's might not be a good choice.
