Home Depot [homedepot.com] has the RIDGID 18-Volt BRUSHLESS Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver & Impact Driver 2-Tool Combo Kit w/ Two 1.5 Ah Batteries, Charger & Bag (R9603) for $119. In Store clearance only.

Folks, this has the lifetime warranty on tools and batteries. (register carefully within 90 days of purchase)

Brickseek 301853891 https://brickseek.com/home-depot-...=301853891

Includes (both Brushless) R860054 Drill/Driver, R86038 Impact Driver, 2x 840085 1.5 Ah Hyper Lithium-Ion batteries, R86092 charger, Contractor bag, 2x bits, 2x Belt hooks, Operator manuals.

I have been using Ridgid cordless tools for over 6 years, and have had to use the Lifetime Service Agreement (LSA) for the drill/driver, and one battery. I was happy to receive a new brushless drill for the old brushed drill I turned in! If you are a low to moderate user, I would not hesitate getting even the brushed tools; the LSA will protect you. I saw this at my local store (Selma, CA 93662) and picked it up for my son, who has a lifetime of fixin' and building ahead of him. A check of the 10 closest stores around me shows half of them with stock.

Recently I started to buy Milwaukee I have say wow wow you can't compare! Had ridgid for over 17 years! Now I use my Milwaukee everyday instead
Kinda can compare... Seeing how they are both made in the same building by the exact same company

If you find stock in an area that has a Menards, go to Menards and get a 15% off bag. Then go to the HD with these in stock and collect an extra 15% off however many you can fit in a bag. I got two. Good only for today.

Managed to find a set at two different stores. One had it in the normal tool area, the other a random clearance endcap at the back of the store. At each location at least one unit was MIA even according to the associate scanners.

Lowes and home depot match the bag sale?

Be careful with version when ordering. BRUSH, brushless, octane.

I do own the brushless set and it works very well. Had lots of DB drills AND Dewalt over the years they are horrible.

Also free bundled batteries from Rigid have No Warranty .
These battery kits do have the lsa
It's when you purchase batteries separately from a tool or charger that they dont apply for the lsa

Is this sti valid in 2020? I knew menards had this few years ago?also di you have to use the menards bag in HD to get 15% off?

It's still you have to bring a menards bag and meet the qualifications

Does home depot have a specific day of the week where they typically change clearence prices, similar to walmart/target? For example walmart typically changes their electronics' prices on fridays.
My local HD updates clearance prices on Monday FWIW.

I'm a Milwaukee convert from Dewalt and I love my current Milwaukee tools. With that said there's nothing like the comfort of having back up drills, but that lifetime warranty on the batteries was the big selling point.

I also got one of those tool only brushless drills off Ebay (I think it was like $30) been working like a champ for a year. I like it.
I just got mine today... works great and doesn't have a BS plastic chuck

This or dewalt? I'm just avg home owner.
Absolutely this. The LSA is worth it and they're nice tools. They fall squarely into the "prosumer" level of tools. Not as good as Hilti but certainly better than HF.
