Not saying this is a bad deal but these types of sales are just marketing tricks.

When a store runs a sale that offers Buy 1 item, get 1 item 50% off they are selling you both items at a 25% discount which is ok but nothing to write home about.

A 'Buy 2 and Get 1 Free' sale provides a 33% discount on each item which might seem pretty good.

A better deal is to find an item you REALLY WANT at a 33% percent discount that doesn't require buying any other products.

Again, its a psychological trick marketers use to get people caught up in the frenzy of 'saving money' without really considering if the items they are purchasing are things they really want/need. These sales work for retailers because it forces consumers to purchase more than a single item.

too bad it's only for selected games... and majority is either overpriced or shovelwares.

I can confirm, resident evil triple pack went from $49.94 to like $34.86 using the order 3 of the same game and canceling 2

Item price multiplied by 2, divided by 3 subtract 5% (if you have Red Card).

For switch games compare to deku deals or camel to see lowest historical price.

There are a few good deals in the list, but most are more than what I paid during Targets Black Friday.

I'm thinking about getting the Pac-Man game.

Best time to buy kids books. Online prices seem to be cheaper than in the store by quite a bit the majority of the time. I have seen books at the store for $9, and they are $5 online.

This can be stacked with the $10 off 100 pick up deal, just completed, 115 in games for 75. Pretty slick.

choice of switch games is lackluster. however, I do like to use this sale to pick up Disney movies which are on sale + on the b2g1 deal for a double discount.

I believe what he is talking about is the prorate deal i have used it before. You purchase and after your purchase is completed then you reject one or 2 items you dont want and they prorate your deal automatically

I just did it. Very easy to do, order 3 online. As soon as the order goes through you have the option to request cancellation for 2, happened instantly for and kept the 30% discount. Though i guess you lose 3-4% of that?

There's some funky things on my receipt though. They're charging a $2.50 bag fee? And i'm still being charged full tax on 3 items. Will see when the charge settles what happens.
