Amazon currently has the 8 Pack AA Panasonic Eneloop at $17.14:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JHKS...=UTF8&th=1

Not the biggest price drop but I haven't seen these on sale for a long time and seems to be a good price for those that need some quality rechargables.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Can anyone tell me how these would compare to the Pale Blue rechargeables? I'm new to buying rechargeable batteries but like the idea of saving waste and money. My experience with rechargeables AA and AAA was from like 12 years ago when my dad bought some and I cant remember what brand but they didn't last long. I'd like to give them another chance. What do y'all think?

warning about battery in amazon.
first thing please discharge and recharge the batteries from amazon, to make sure it is 2000mAh.
i have bought from amazon eneloop, up to 50 AA battery, all have around 800mAh only after verification!!
a lot of counterfeit, maybe they fit AAA core into AA body as scam.
battery they must thought users wont know until late.

please discharge and recharge to know the exact mAh!!
use la crosse charger.
i had returned all those "brand new""eneloop" batteries to amazon.

bad amazon.

I get what you are saying since I use IKEA's rechargeables too but, for a 3 dollar difference, I would rather get some Eneloops. They seem to hold charge longer than my IKEAs.
There is a guy on YouTube who made a scientific study and found that LADA brand that Ikea has is overall the best rechargeable battery with better ability to retain charge even not used. Eneloops didnt even went close

For those of you asking about chargers, the PowerEx C9000 charger that the guy from Project farm uses is a very good charger, IF you only plan on using nicd and nimh batteries. If you plan on doing Li-Ion batteries too (18650, etc), then you might look into something else that does both.

Waiting for new battery technology where AA and AAA batteries provide 1.5V output.
Lithium - ion rechargeables are out there.

What's a good charger for these? Really only need a 4 AA charger since we'll swap out 4 in device and 4 in charger.
Powerex MH-C9000 , La Crosse Technology BC1000 and just purchased AccuPower IQ338XL (which seems to provide the same function as the Lacrosse but can handle C and D cells, as well. I have a LaCrosse knock off and have just purchased another. The knock offs seem to work fine for my needs.

Perp-
I can't speak on Pale Blue rechargeables, but we have been using Eneloop for 10+ years. Many of our batteries are that old, too, and still working! We have saved quite a bit of money by using these instead of disposables. These are far better than the crappy rechargeables we used 20yrs ago. We use them in almost everything from Xbox controllers, remotes, and toys.

We have also tried the Amazon brand rechargeables. They work well, but almost all of them have failed within a couple years.

My wife and run a photo business. We used these eneloops in our 6 off camara flashes. THEY ARE PHENOMENAL. Never had an issue. My question is... What would be a good charger to change say 8 or 16 of these? Charging 4 at a time with 2 chargers takes a while I really like to not have to babysit them. If we could knock out a ton at a time that would be awesome. I just want to conserve the integrity of the battery.
