Was browsing my local Home Depot today and came across a pallet of these Magic Chef - 6 Qt. 9-in-1 Multi Function Pressure Cooker with Sous Vide in Matte Black. They had clearance stickers on them for $39. I bought one and it rang up as $39.

e:User ogewo has found them in store in Chicago @ $29 (see below).

It appears these were Black Friday speciatly items and Home Depot is getting rid of their stock, or at least my local one is.

Home Depot online says they don't sell in store but Brick Seek shows inventory levels.

I can't comment on the performance or reliability of this unit, but it has some features that might make this a hot deal.
  • Low and high pressure option
  • Includes glass lid for sauteing, slow cooking, or steaming via saute, which is true steaming and doesn't use pressure.
  • Detachable cord
  • Inner pot is stainless steel, with no non-stick coating

From the instructions, it looks like manual temperature adjustment might only be available in the saute mode: "Less at (221°F/105°C), Normal (320°F/160°C), or More (347°F/175°C)". In the other modes, those three buttons vary the cook time.

The Instant Pot Duo Nova is $60, and may have an easier to use interface. The Instant Pot Evo is $100, and has a much nicer interface and the nicer handles on the inner pot that allow you to remove it without wearing oven mitts.

One reviewer on Home Depot's site mentioned getting this at 29$ a week ago. Hopefully some people here post what prices they're seeing at their locations.

On sale for $29 at Chicago, North Ave. Plenty of stock, according to brickseek.

@ransack123, you should update the thread title, because this is a much better deal at $29.

Got the last one at my store here on Kauai. Just a heads up customer service isn't going to be any help finding them because their clearance items and depending on how deep they want to dig, they don't really exist in the new customer service system....which seems to be just using the HD website. If you have a store like ours that doesn't have an small appliance section, just go to where the refrigerators / freezers are sold, they're potentially is a clearance section in the back just for small appliances. We actually have three different clearance areas in our store. This was the last one I checked after talking to the CS. Paid $39 plus tax. Which is fine considering. Thanks OP!

Brickseek said my store had 2. There was only one on the clearance endcap near appliances. The sticker on the box said $48, but it scanned at the register as $39. I already have 2 Instant Pots and a Power Cooker, so I don't really need it for pressure cooking. I bought it to try the sous vide cooking without investing in something more expensive to see if I enjoy that method of cooking. Thanks OP, rep given.

You should rig or by a water circulator if you're serious about results.
