Amazon [amazon.com] has a B2G1 offer on select books, games and blu-rays. Free shipping with Prime or $25+ order.

Follow the link and use the search to find Ghibli titles. The best deal is to get Spirited Away, Mononoke and Nausicaa, making Spirited away free. The other movies are more expensive (and also not as good, IMO). Comes out to ~$11 per movie before tax. Other combinations increase total.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I'd highly highly highly recommend The Night Is Short Girl Walk On as a third if you're interested in some really "Japanese quirky" animation and storytelling. I loved it in theaters. definitely in my top three post-Ghibli era anime films. Very sweet, very fun and endearing but definitely adult.

Edit: Holy crap. Millennium Actress is also listed. It was recently screened in theaters with this BluRay release and was absolutely mesmerizing. The English dubs were newly done and excellent. The art and storytelling: classic Satoshi Kon. 👍

For those who want digital now, Vudu has a six-pack of studio ghibli movies for $75. Works out to 12.50 a movie before tax. You dont get to choose which movies, but they are digital copies. Just note, they are NOT movies anywhere titles.

There's probably no way to know the answer, but I'll ask anyway. What are the chances the GKids Ghibli releases still have the slipcovers?

I am not a huge fan of that movie and especially Earthsea, but thought I'd include them for anyone who's interested - particularly if they already own the other ones. It's tough when you're comparing them with the three I mention first, which are all masterpieces, not to mention the best deal. laugh out loud
Thanks. In for your top 3 recommended, after reading more reviews. Never seen one of these, including Grave of the Fireflies that I bought long ago but is still in my backlog.

Grave of the fireflies is also a masterpiece about the aftermath of war. It's one of those movies you should watch at least once. It's a very visceral movie

Thanks op. Got Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivery Service, and Totoro on normal DVD. 3 for 27.58, or $9.19 each. Been wanting to pick these up for the collection for a few years now, finally bit.

Edit: Cancelled order and got the top 3 blu rays listed instead. I'll keep waiting for a deal on Kiki and Totoro

Got Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Grave of the Fireflies for $36.51. Thanks. Haven't seen any Miyazaki films.
Howls moving castle I believe is a must but great choices.

Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away are my favorites, followed closely by Totoro, Nausicaa, and Howl's Moving Castle. Ghibli's earlier works were better than the later ones imo...the later ones had better animation but the earlier ones had better story.

Just an FYI. Netflix is coming out with a bunch of the Ghibli's on Feb 1st and March 2nd if you just want to watch them.
Not in the US, Canada, or Japan.

For those with younger kids, Totoro, Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle, and Kiki's Delivery Service are also part of the B2G1 deal.

As far as I could tell, the movies with $2.73 coupon aren't part of the deal.
Totoro has a coupon and could not find the one that would work... have a link? My kids love totoro
