Definitely bro, I did my homework before I pulled the trigger. You won't be disappointed, trust me! I went to best buy to see the difference between OLED's and Sony is the best out there but they could of done a better job with the design.

There are definitely different selling points between this and the C9.

Pros for A9G:
- Localized sound through the screen. Also can operate as a center channel in a surround speaker setup.
- Better upscaling of lower res content (i.e. better processor). Great if you prefer cinema over gaming.

Pros for C9:
- Much better latency. Definitely better if you are a gamer.
- Another plus for gamers: G-sync compatible firmware update for gaming.
- HDMI 2.1 (A9G is only 2.0). Allows for 4k at 120fps, native eARC audio, native variable refresh rate, and automatic switching to low latency mode. Most current consumer electronics and gaming devices don't support any of this yet, so consider this future-proofing.

Neutral:
A9G runs Android TV. C9 runs WebOS. User preference.

I own both. WebOS is world's better. I got an apple tv on my Sony because AndroidTV is so slow and bad.

Thanks, repped, amazing reply! Appreciate it

EDIT: and the points you articulated so well re: the c9 and it's gaming capabilities are the things I'm most excited about (4k/120 will be amazing!)

Which Sony is that? My A9G has never slowed down or glitched in the two months I've had it.

The A9G compares more to the LG E9 so the price will be more in line with that model, the differences lie in both the upscaling and the processing which to my eyes Sony has a better presentation overall while LG is better for hardcore gamers, I say hardcore because I challenge anyone to feel the measured higher input lag on the A9G during FPS games or SFV. It has been confirmed that after calibration these OLEDs all look the same with the difference being in the processing, not that LG is bad but I just see more detail with the Sony.
