Rubbermaid Fasttrack Tool Cabinet Kit at Home Depot B&M YMMV $68.06

My Home Depot has the Rubbermaid Fasttrack Tool Cabinet Kit on clearance for $68.06, regularly $154.97. It shows up as clearance on BS at all the Seattle stores that have it in stock, but YMMV. This is an in-store deal only, it is full price on their website. Link to website provided for reference only.

This tool cabinet attaches to any Fasttrack rail and holds up to 30 pounds. Looks like a nice addition to the Fasttrack system. One of the reviews mentions that it can be mounted directly to a wall instead of using the Fasttrack rail but I can't verify that as I couldn't justify buying one with all the storage I already have lol.

68 still seems kind of high for a 2-foot by 2-foot storage cabinet

That you also have to buy over priced "hangers" for everything. Wood, screws, and nails are a much cheaper option but you lose that uber chic and unused garage look.

Ah, that is cool, I'd glossed over the part where the inside is all fasttrack compatible so you can just hang everything inside it neatly, rather than just piling things into it on top of each other the way every other cabinet ends up lol.

The IKEA BROR [ikea.com] wall cabinet has double the cubic inches for $99. And the entire BROR system is way cheaper overall. One year return if you don't like it.

Gladiator 30x30" units were going for around $100. This is similar but with storage walls inside instead of 2 shelves. A price around $60 seems like a solid deal for this if you don't mind investing a bit more in attachments to store items in the cabinet. I don't think I'd pay more than that. The gladiator units really don't need additional items to make them usable.

Yep, this should go well with those storage racks they show in an empty garage with 1 item on each shelf.

Yeah dude in a review has two hammers and some pliers hanging and it's full. Gladiator storage is also on sale, now that will save you space. this fast track is basically the same thing but cheaper, not feeling this cabinet tho.

A nail in the wall does not even compare to track systems. The over priced hangers are worth every penny. I can hang five lawn tools safely in the space of a nail system that holds one tool haphazardly.

You are better off going to a state surplus and buying a metal one for $20
