If the cable stops working, provide a receipt from amazon to Anker customer service along with a video of the fault, they will send you a replacement for free and a box to send the old one back.

How does "Lifetime Warranty" work? We need to see the fine prints.

Would this apply even if outside US? Canada for example

I had a quite expensive Anker lightning cable go bad after about two years. This is a mostly solid brand, but I feel like just nobody makes standards compliant cables that last.

Personally, I've had hit and miss quality with Anker products but mostly on the good side. For cables I've stopped buying from anywhere but Monoprice. I've used their lifetime warranty multiple times and it was easy to do and the prices are as good as this. I've had cables that were a couple of years old fail and they replaced no questions asked. The buck or two I might save on some off brand from amazon claiming a lifetime warranty is not worth it when they vanish after a few months. I assume Anker isn't going anywhere but the price isn't any better than Monoprice and I know the Monoprice warranty is easy and honored. I guess if my kid wants to use this cable to swing from or something, then this might be worth it lol

That doesn't seem totally "hassle-free" IMHO but it does sound like they honor it. (Video of fault could be tough, I'd use my phone to record a video but how do I show the cable plugged in and failing to charge?)

That has a lot more to do with use than with cable quality IMO. If you aren't bending the connectors and are good care, the cables should last. If you use your phone while it is charged (causing the connection to bend), sleep with your phone while it is charging like my kids, toss a cable in a bag and so on it will bend and eventually fail.

In my case the expensive Anker cables lasted much less compared to monoprice ones. Also, as someone stated, make sure to read carefully if that specific cable is under lifetime warranty or just 18 months. In my case, I bought two(6ft and 10ft). The 6ft one was lifetime warranty and the 10ft of exact same cable was 18 months. Ofcourse the 10 ft one stopped charging one day and that's how I found out about 18 month vs lifetime warranty

IMO what you say is BS just take a look at how they sell you on their cables. They bend them and not normal use bends WOW!! Over 10,000 U bends. They hang bricks by the end to show strength. I have two that have failed me. I don't sleep with a phone or make over 10,000 Bends that look like a U. I don't lasso any sheep either. I do have a couple ANKER power banks and power ports that work great. But the cables they can stick it. Fool me once fool me twice.......

Same—-except I've never had to make a warranty claim. Can't believe the abuse my maker cables have taken and keep on charging. Well worth the $$

I've have bad luck with Anker cables. They stopped working after about a month or so. Best Buy has Dynex 3' lightning cables for $6.49 & 6' cables for $7.99. I have a few Dynex cables that have last me 2 years+ and still working.
