From what I'm reading you just need to be a new gigabit internet customer, not a new FIOS customer. As long as you don't already have their gigabit internet you should be eligible.
That's what I thought too, will give a shot 1st thing on 29th and let you all know

For those who keep saying stadia sucks
1- Do you actually have a stadia? or previously own 1?
2- Whats your issue with it?

I personally have one and havent had any major issues. Aside their limited library, I quite enjoy it.

Are all games free if you are signed for $9.99 premium plan? Or only few games are free and you have to pay extra for popular games? Also, can more than one person in your household play at same time?

Do you know how long we must keep this Giga plan to get free Stadia? I don't really need Giga plan but tempting if I can get free Stadia and switch to lower speed FiOS plan.

Not necessarily. The difference between Stadia's Free and Paid models are as follows in regards to games.
Free: Ability to purchase games (retail price); No free games.
Pro/Paid: Ability to purchase games (retail price); Free games (only those that are made available free and not of your choosing).

So, it isn't like a Netflix model if that is what you are thinking. The service basically exists to be utilized, but you must purchase games that you want to play or pay for the paid service to play the free games available with Stadia.

Either way, you DO NOT own the games --not even the ones you purchase. If you purchased, say Red Dead Redemption II (unsure if it is available at the moment on Stadia), then you can only play that game with the Stadia service, but if for some reason Google decides to abandon Stadia and kills it off, then I doubt players will be getting their money back for the games they purchased on it. You own zero part of that game, and only have access to play it as long as the service is active.

Thanks for the clarification. I don't see any benefits to pay $9.99/ mo if most games are not free for paying monthly subscription fee. Sounds like I am paying off Stadia game pad and Chromecast with monthly subscription fee.

The fine print just says after installation they send you an email with a link for the free Stadia on the Google store. There's nothing about needing to keep it after.

I have a Stadia that I play with on a hard wire connection, with 100mbps FiOS speed.

And it's great! Enjoying FFXV right now, and Destiny 2 is cool. I agree that the current library is small, but so was Nintendo Switch's when it launched. I'm sure most of the people hating on the Stadia have never used one.

Their biggest media blunder was over promising features at launch, but that doesn't really degrade my current experience with the product. You can copy and paste tech blogs or whatever review you saw, but I haven't heard of a negative experience from anyone I know who has one.

I think google runs their stadia games on ramdisks which equals amazing load times. Kind of funny in destiny 2 where you can load into a strike like a full 40 seconds before anyone else

this would be awesome if I could get FiOS where I live and if stadia didn't suck
I've had an excellent experience with stadia myself.

So all of these games are included at no extra charge when enrolled in premium $9.99 plan?
