The price per GB sweet spot is 1.5 cents per GB. That would make 12TB $180. For comparison, the $14TB would be $210 at 1.5c/GB. The last big 14TB deal was $200 so even less than 1.5c/GB

This 12TB drive is a good deal for anyone who needs this space now. I'm waiting on the 14TB drives to go back on sale, though.

This works great with plex but it also depends how much content you have. I just filled an 8tb so I needed to upgrade or delete things. If you use plex dvr, you will be happy to have the extra space and this is currently the best price. it's been 10 bucks lower in the past so depends on your timeframe needs. You can also shuck it.

14 tb are usually more per gb when they go on sale right?
