This is the lowest price I've seen on the 460 Rancher 24" with 0.050 gauge chain.

Wow, what a deal! These saws never go on sale. 60cc is a great size for a firewood saw, or for anyone who expects to cut down more than a few trees a year.

I'm pretty sure that this saw, like most Husqvarnas, leaks bar oil. It's not a dealbreaker for me, but it is annoying.

Great price but read some reviews before buying. Seems like they have some quality control issues.

If you're realistically not going to use a chainsaw often, should def look into battery powered.
https://www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCCS670X1-FLEXVOLT-Lithium-Ion-Brushless/dp/B01NBVCQ4W/ref=sr_1_2?keyw... [amazon.com]

look up comparisons to see what's right for how often and for what reason you will use a chainsaw
I agree. I prefer the Kobalt 80v chainsaw (at Lowe's) due to the 18" bar and 30-minute charge time.

Overated. Go get an Echo CS-590 $400, it'll put a 460 to shame. We have a 455 Rancher and it ok at best.

Great Deal if you need it for a continuous job or put an ad out that you cut up downed trees.

Not worth it if you just want to have one around. Chains, Oils, Gas and time it takes to maintain it is just not worth it if you can rent one to get one or two jobs done per year or less.

Had 5 12"+ Round 35 Ft. tall trees down in my property from a storm - Cut them all up in the 5 hour window of rental and they gave me 2 chains, Gas needed and the Oil...Can't beat the price of $35 for rental.

Now it's the stumps I have to get rid of.

How do you think oil lubricants the chain....

I love my Timber Wolf (CS-590). Very easy to modify. I've ported and tuned the carburetor and ported out the exhaust. I also added a 28" bar for slabbing trees. Love it. It's pretty loud/snarly sounding but that's what PPE is for. I love cranking it up in the morning...It could wake the dead. Smilie
