For under $5 it's a great price but the original MSRP is ridiculous. You can get canless LED lights like this from Amazon for much cheaper than $25/ea. I have found them to be identical to the Home Depot/Lowes ones.

Good deal if you can find it. I like 3000k because it isn't too yellow and not as harsh as blue.

Good deal on Halo brand but none available near me.

OTOH, I just got some Patriot branded ones from Menards for $16.99/2pack with 5 rebate and 15%off bag deal. About $4.30 each and they have selectable temp as well. They have 11% off now and $5 rebate is going on until June so may be an option for some.

Wish I could buy some for myself...but just realized I haven't the slightest clue on how to install something like this and can't afford to hire someone to do it for me...so gonna have to be a pass.

How do you install these exactly? Replace old light socket brackets with these?

If you have pre-exisiting 6" recessed lights in the ceiling, they should be fairly easy.
Instructions are here: pdf.lowes.com/installationguides/080083858163_install.pdf
I swapped out 8 of mine in an afternoon.

$11.59 from amazon in case your Lowe's doesn't have it in stock.

Costco also has FEIT ones for 4 pack $55, not sure of the quality of FEIT though
