Basically an all-time low price (based on CCC) for this (IMHO) excellent mower. You can also get a 'Very Good' condition through Amazon warehouse for 20% off making it $171.

Bought this last summer to replace my dead gas mower, 0 regrets at retail.

I have a .30 acre yard fwiw, so take that in with my below comments.

The dual battery slots are super convenient. I have always run the 4.0 as the primary and the 2.0 as the backup except one time.

The 4.0 can almost mow my entire lawn, regardless of humidity etc., i get 85-90% done, the blades slow down for a second and then right back up as it switches to the 2.0.

The 2.0 got about 60% of the yard done and then switched to the 4.0.

The blade placement is staggered, so if you need to get a close cut you'll need to put the front to a specific side because one side has the blade in the back.

Charging is quick, holds the charge well and the 40v max line looks really cool, loads of fun options (I'm planning to get the inverter when it's on sale for power outages/camping)

Best part though? Just turning the thing on, no pull cord, no gas, no ridiculous priming etc. Pull out, start, done.

I wish it was brushless but if you're getting an electric mower in this range, you're not mowing too much I'd imagine and should be fine.

Actually, I'm laughing at you for passing on a good deal because you think people will laugh at the color of your lawnmower.

So now that we're already laughing at you, maybe reconsider jumping on the deal?

This is a good deal, esp for the bigger batteries. However if you can wait, woot usually runs a $199 for the 21" brushless model, which IMHO would be more bang for your buck. The only downside w the woot one is that it comes w the 2.5ah batteries which are not great for a mower.

Yea, the warehouse version seems like a great deal assuming you get a basically new mower.

always a slight gamble, i've gotten new stuff and some stuff that looked beaten up but worked perfectly (and did not need to look pretty)

Newbie to this, what's the difference between brushless and this one?
Also, how long battery runs before it will go bad or doesn't hold charge? How much it cost to replace battery.

What's the warehouse link?

The link showing $298. Anyway, finally pull the trigger and got the warehouse one, in original packaging with some damage, so I am guessing it comes like new.
Now I will be looking for Greenworks trimmer/blower deals.

Mine was an in-store purchase, so YMMV I guess
