Bluetooth works great. You can even have this connect over Bluetooth to a better speaker. Also it's much better just to cast to this

It's been almost 4 years and Google hasn't done a noticeable hardware update. I imagine they're going to kill it soon enough in favor of the nest mini.

Google Store had em for $30 last year I believe. Other than that I have seen very few deals with them under $50.

So many people have the minis, that I don't think realize how different this one is. IMHO, pound for pound, the audio quality (especially with the EQ in the home app) is hard to beat in this size/price.
