This was $1000 at Costco a couple weeks ago. Dell GC is a hassle, returns are a hassle, and Costco has a far better warranty.

Prices will continue to go down this spring as we get closer to this year's new products. Vizio is refreshing the Quantum line and will be putting out an OLED so I'm expecting some significant price drops on last year's models.

Pretty much all PX-65s have bad banding, QC is real bad on these.

Buy locally.
As do the TCLs..along with DSE
Good advice on buying the TCL as well...

I've seen people mention before about different ways to turn the Dell gift card, what ways have people had the easiest time/path of least resistance?

First time I got a dell promo card, I bought a Nintendo Pokemon 3DS with it. It was around Christmas, and the item never shipped. Three months later the order was cancelled. Contacted Dell about the promo code, and they reissued it, but they reissued the same code from, which by that time had expired. It took awhile, but they got it fixed, then I used the credit to buy a Nintendo Switch that I sold on Ebay.

If you don't have a soundbar, I would just use the credit to buy one, as most TVs have terrible sound quality.

I've got a sound bar with satellites already, guess I could use it to upgrade my current system and move this one downstairs. Or just get the one from sams in town

Sam's has some good deals. Unfortunately for me, Sam's is about a 40 minute drive. Not necessarily a bad drive, but it's in a busy area that I try to avoid when I can. Smilie

Is the HDR too bright for night time viewing that you will end up squinting?
