I believe this TV was the same price for Cyber Monday last year. Good price, just in time for the Super Bowl. It's currently priced at $699.99 so the sale will take an extra $100 off.

I don't know squat about TV's and I know this question has been asked a million times.

I have a PS4 PRO. Is it even worth it to buy this TV vs. those other cheaper UHD HDR TV's?

Yes. This TV in particular is great for HDR gaming.

Bestbuy dropped this to $649.99 today. I wonder if they would price match Costco?

Weird, no idea why the link wasn't working in that post.

The Rtings review of the TCL 625 says the below when compared to the Vizio:
Quote :
The Vizio M Series Quantum 2019 and the TCL 6 Series/R625 2019 are very similar overall, each with their strengths and weaknesses. The M Series Quantum has a better response time, resulting in clearer motion with less blur, and it has better reflection handling. The TCL, on the other hand, has an optional motion interpolation feature, great if you enjoy the soap opera effect.

Thanks OP.

Would love to hear from those who own this TV. I missed out on the TCL 625 @ BB and this seems like a great alternative.

i bought the TCL but haven't opened the box yet and have a couple of days to bring it back (Best Buy). Any thoughts on whether I should?

I'm thinking about it if only because of the 4-year warranty. If they're really that similar and I'm only getting the MFR+ 1-year on my credit card for the TCL that seems like reason enough.

I just bought this exact TV a week ago for $699 at Costco. Was hoping it was going to go on sale for Superbowl, but couldn't wait. I think Costco has a 30 day price adjustment policy?

Like the TV a lot. I personally would have gone with the 6 series TCL, but it was for a vacation cabin with multiple owners. The Chromecast and Airplay 2 is very nice to have.

Yeah costco has a 30 day price adjustment policy but also a 90 return on electronics. So if you are outside the 30 day window you could just return and buy another one.

I think Costco has no price adjust policy. But you can always buy and return the new one with old recipe.

Welcome to Panel lottery. good luck. Per Rtings. fine if you dont like sports.

The M Series' gray uniformity is decent, but there are vertical bands across the entire screen and some vignetting at the top corners. This dirty screen effect can be distracting, especially when watching sports.

720p content, like most cable channels, is decently upscaled, but like with 480p content, it's a bit worse than most other TVs.

I watched a lot of sports for a few days after I installed mine and didn't see any of this. Quite happy with it. I looked up the Costco price adjustment policy and it looks like I have 30 days. Will stop by there this weekend and confirm. Hoping it won't be an issue.
