Discover hundreds of cards to add to your deck with each attempt at climbing the Spire. Select cards that work together to efficiently dispatch foes and reach the top. Whenever you embark on a journey up the Spire, the layout differs each time. Choose a risky or safe path, face different enemies, choose different cards, discover different relics, and even fight different bosses!
Our research indicates that Slay the Spire (Nintendo Switch) is $6.50 less (24.53% savings) than the next best price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $26.49. -slickdewmaster
It's been a while for physical to be $19.99, usually $29.99, digital usually $24.99. This is the lowest it's been other than GameStop's DOtD on 12/15/19 when it was $16.
Edit: The console version will receive the new v2.0 update with the new 'Watcher' character like PC but no estimated release date yet.
We fused card games and roguelikes together to make the best single player deck builder we could. Craft a unique deck, encounter bizarre creatures, discover relics of immense power, and Slay the Spire!
Have about 100 hours in on this one, one of my favorite card games. Between the 3 players there is a lot of strategy to try out. Has a lot more replay value than Steamworld quest

this is a game I actually prefer digital (any rogue-like actually). I play them in short sessions before playing another game.

Love the game, but the mods will extend the life of it by a ton on PC.

Fun game. I've played it on PC but it's also on XBOX Game Pass. It' one of those addictive games that's easy to keep playing. Love the rogue-like approach to it, especially as a card game.

love the game on pc, but how are the controls on switch? specifically for looking through your available playable hand in handheld mode? do you have to select in and out of your hand, is it cumbersome? is the font sized to be easily legible?

Its perfect on the switch, I play in handheld mode 90% of the time. Only put in about 25 hours at this point, but highly recommend this. I usually buy physical games to resell, but this is one I would recommend digital. It often goes on sale for this price on Nintendo eShop

You should go back to it. They have a fourth character now.
Thanks for posting. I've been wanting to play on Switch for a while but digital price has been keeping too high. I'll be picking up at my local store in an hour.
This is a really great game and it works great with a controller, on PC anyway. I'd say it's even preferable to a keyboard+mouse, although kbm is fine too.
