Seems like a solid price for what you get.

Thicker mats are actually harder to use for yoga. It's harder to balance and hold a pose on them.

If you're not an absolute beginner, I would recommend a thinner mat.

Ringworm is a fungus that lives on the skin, not a worm that lives in the body (the name comes from the appearance of the infection, not the organism that causes it). It can be transferred by objects that infected people touch, such as hairbrushes and towels, so a yoga mat could certainly be a potential vector.

Seems like a good price just for the blocks and towels. I think for most people, I'd recommend a thicker mat. I have the equivalent 1/2 inch thick amazon mat which is great, but I'd imagine 1/4 inch would be pretty thin

Wife was asking for a yoga mat earlier this week to do some stretching.
I told her to ask on her "buy nothing" facebook group and she got one free.

1/4 inch indeed is on the thin side.
A used yoga mat? She's asking for ring worm or HSV. I hope they bleached the hell out of that freebie... that's pretty gross.

I say that because I know people who have gotten both from using dirty yoga mats that weren't properly cleaned.

Yep, it's kind of thin. But I've used think ones and frankly they're not that much of a difference.

My wife wanted to start doing yoga with the kid on the carpet. These will be fine. For my grown man self? Not the most comfortable but the yoga is going to make me far more uncomfortable than anything else...

In for 2. Once I finally got the frickin website to actually work in my phone. Seriously frustrating.

To each their own, but a standard yoga mat is about 1/8" thick -- even 1/4" is generally considered oversized 😬

That said if you like 'em thicc more power to ya

Am in for the blocks. Thanks!

Ringworm...yuck Wink

**Edit: Meh...nvm. Took closer look at the blocks and not quite what I need, personally. Still, seems like a good set for someone just starting out!

Shows $6 shipping even though I logged in with Amazon (prime member). Should being Prime waive shipping or is it normal to pay shipping on Woot? (never ordered there before).
