Mint Mobile ran a Super Bowl ad last year. Instead of running an ad this year, they are taking out a NY Times ad instead annoucining they are giving away their 3 Month T&T/3GB plan (Normally $45) for free to new customers to get them to try the service. It says you have 45 days to activate. Runs on T-Mobile Network. You can sign up starting this Sunday at 6:15 p.m. to coincide with the Super Bowl kickoff. It says the offer ends at the final whistle of the game.

Also once you hit 12GB on your data plan, they nuke it down to snail speeds, I thought after looking over the data plan multiple times this wouldn't be the case but it is. An example, she hit around 13GB last month and we were trying to listen to Spotify on low quality last month while in the car, couldn't handle it, kept dropping out because the speeds after her "12GB of premium data" were out. You still have data but it's very slow.
Not Great they want a CC number ,
I just put in a 3 month Mint sim on Monday that was 3 months / 12gb a month for $35 for the 3 month service , That shows up at Best Buy every few months,
Black friday 2018 they had 3 months / 5gb for $20 , that got upgraded to 8gb a month I did a year of those !
If you have Tmobile service Mint is OK , I never had to call them .,
But today up in North Pasadena , Mint got super slow service , so you never know !

Here is a speedtest.net using Mint 4G. It says Tmobile because Mint uses Tmobile towers.
