Can't comment in this particular mattress, but the Serta/Sam's warranty is second to none. I had a Serta mattress from Sam's that developed a really noticable indentation after a year and a half (I weigh 200 lbs), so I called Serta who then directed me to a special Sam's Club customer service department, and they arranged to have a freight company pick up the mattress and refunded me with no questions asked.

Never understood why anyone buys a pillowtop.

Seems better to get a non pillowtop so you can flip it every 6 months. And just buy a good separate latex topper. That can be replaced much cheaper. Easier to try out different thickness toppers to see what you like and send back.
Do they still make flippable mattresses?

Wish Costco had a deal like this. No Sam's clubs near me.and I need a Queen size mattress.
Is this similar? I know it's $75 more, but it seems in the ballpark:

Not common at all. Most big name manufacturers have gone to no flip design (even on non pillow top) as it allows for a better base (within the mattress) layer.

I have a twin and queen from the 1990s in my house. They're still very comfortable. And flippable. I half wonder if the new method is just a gimmick to get people to throw away their money on a new mattress every 10 or less years.

We bought the similar version of this mattress from Sam's in 2014. King size. For the last year it's been totally uncomfortable and it pulled you into the center. Went to Sam's and they told us to bring it back. I got the 399 memory foam on black Friday with the refund credit. Hopefully this one lasts longer. I guess that's another way to have a long lasting mattress. It seems more wasteful. I'd rather have a simpler, flippable mattress that doesn't fail in 5 years.

Absolutely, here in the NW, there is a store called bedroomandmore and everything they sell is two-sided.

Super firm is right. Bought 5 for a short term rental. Layed it on the floor as soon as the delivery guys left and it felt like laying on concrete. Called Sam's Club and they refunded immediately, BUT it took them a month to come pick them up. Stick with Zinus Ultima and you will not be disappointed, unless you like sleeping on concrete.

My friend has this bed in a full size. I fell asleep on it once. It was definitely firm.. but I'm on a nearly 10 year old mattress so I guess it didn't bother me much. If you're used to soft beds, or have experienced memory foam then you should look elsewhere.

I think people are exaggerating a bit here. I decided to take the risk since the return policy would be pretty fair.

After sleeping on it for a week its definitely firm but very comfortable for me, I find the concrete comment a bit ridiculous.

One thing no one is mentioning is that the bed sleeps super cool, which coming from memory foam is a major upgrade for me. So far it's been worth every penny.
