Just don't wash it with hot water and you're be fine. Men often destroy clothing by not hand washing and blocking or just going cold wash them lightly block the sweater to keep the fit. It depends on the care or just go semi warm and see how it comes out after the wash. You can throw it in a garment wash baggie, also

I personally think merino wool is better for under layers that directly sit on your skin. If it's something like a sweater that you wear on top of a cloth, merino wool's best property is rather wasted. With that said, the price seems fine. I'd be curious to know how many percentages merino wool it has though.

The description says it's all wool.

Well, obviously it's not 100% wool if it's listing other materials.

Usually when people ask what the material is they're concerned that the Merino wool is mixed with lesser fabrics to cut costs. That's not what happening. The cuffs and neck have elastic trim added so they don't stretch out.

Yea, it's also important to note that different sweaters have different info. You are going off of the first sweater in OP. I was checking other sweaters also. The gray one for example doesn't say 100% wool anywhere. Just want people to be aware.
