Is this included "wireless charger" misleading? I don't think that the buds, nor their case can be charged wirelessly.

You are correct. They DO NOT have wireless charging. The case charges via USB-C.

why don't they ever put memory storage on these things? These are for mostly listening to music right? Storage chips are tiny these days, it wouldn't take much to slap one in on the circuit board. Tired of carrying my phone while running.

Does anyone have experience with the wireless charger power bank?

I like the idea of the wireless charger and the specs look good, but I'm not sure of the quality.

If amazon has it for the same price without the charger, I'm more inclined to go that way, since they offer no hassle returns.

After the latest update, they are definitely useable for phone calls. I use these for work calls (quite often since I'm in Sales), especially when I'm in my daily driver (slightly modded 2000 Civic Si with exhaust). When I first got them, they were completely useless for phone calls unless I was in complete silence, with people complaining the quality was terrible and they just couldn't hear a word I was saying. Now, after the update, I'm able to use them even in my car with all the road, wind and exhaust noise/drone on the freeway (just imagine about 4.5K RPMs in an old car with little sound deadening). That was the true test, and they now pass with flying colors!
Call quality was so bad that I stopped using these for calls even after the firmware updates. This is very good news.

how does this compared to qc35 for air travel? if they performed similar, i'd get this to replace my qc35 due to size.

I love these headphones. I am quite an audio snob as well and they are surprisingly good sounding. The noise canceling and battery are great. The app is great too and offers a lot of customization of controls, noise cancelling and EQ.

I also have the Anker Liberty Pro (which also sound amazing) but overall the Sony's are better. The noise cancelling is priceless at lunch if I'm eating alone and want to block out the noisy background and focus on my podcast/youtube video etc.

As someone with a bad habit of collecting wireless earbuds, if you like sound quality with ANC, this is it. It isn't as convenient as the AirPods Pro, but if you listen to the AP after you hear the Sony's, the AirPod Pro sound and ANC are very disappointing. The soundstage has depth and there are equalizer settings that are customizable, unlike the AP. However, the Sony's weakness is in its BT radio in that it cannot simultaneously be used with more than one device and sometimes has dropouts when using an iPhone 11 Pro, though I suspect it is Apple's fault as it happens more to any BT that isn't apple's. Also the call quality is worse than the AP. The case is also much bigger than the AirPods, so it is difficult to always keep it in your pocket. Overall, they are my go to headphones for travel and listening to music, not if I need to do a business call.

Hate TWS, far prefer wired, but these are far superior than the airpods or airpods pro. I assume if these are going on sale the XM4's should be coming out soon presumably around MWC.

Might be a dumb question - is there a way to get any of the main control options available in the app without being connected to the phone?

In true slickdeals fashion I already got the Jabra 65t actives recently; planning to use those for gym and these for home. Being able to use one bud (in either ear) and a few other features makes these worth it. My only real complaint about the jabras for what I do with them is the app only working via the phone (so no pass-through option etc if connected to a comp). I know these have on-bud ways to do certain things but just curious if there's a way to either a) continue to configure via the app on a phone while being connected to another device (ideal), or b) use windows and other software to config

If used at home 90% of the time these will be connected to a computer or TV.
