6 one-quart units?

I've only purchased engine oil in those quantities.... Smilie

On a more serious note, does this milk taste good?

Thanks!

It's uht probably so it's pasteurized to a higher temp than fresh milk. You may or may not like it.

Well it's simple math. Lactaid comes in 64oz containers for $3.99 usually.. I think you can figure out the rest of the math.

But just in case you can't.. I am in a good mood so .. basically it would take 3 Lactaid to equal the same quantity as this deal. And 3 Lactaid is = $11.97.. I think that's enough data for you to figure out which is the better deal (taste aside).

You can get store brand for $3-3.49 at aldi fo 64oz. Basically the same price as this deal. I dont know about shelf stable milk - so conditioned to having it refrigerated it might be mentally challenging to get over.

This product tastes like milk. Living in the middle of nowhere we keep shelf-stable milk around for when we run out of the fresh stuff and dont want to drive to get more. In cereal, you can't really tell a difference.

Never tried this brand but I did try *shelf milk for the first time ever a month ago. I didn't even know such a thing existed.

I had the same problem conditioned that milk belonged in the fridge. I was preparing for the worst, but TBH it tastes just like regular milk if not better.. not a hint of rancidity like I was expecting.

I mentally still can't fully get over it though.. once our brain gets programmed.. it's hard to change even in the face of experience and facts.. sigh.

From wiki: Lactose is a disaccharide. It is a sugar composed of galactose and glucose subunits and has the molecular formula C12H22O11. Lactose makes up around 2–8% of milk (by weight).

This is actually healthier than normal milk. More protein, no lactose, and less sugar and fat.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and it taste just like regular 2% to me.
