I have this same router. Purchased in early 2017. Works great, no need to upgrade.
Use mine for work, gaming, and streaming (Plex, iTunes, Netflix, and Hulu).

The signal reaches to my backyard. Also upgraded my cable modem. No drops like before, incredibly stable.

First and foremost, I was super happy when I bought this router back in 2017. However, the router never ended up living up to the hype for me and I ended up going back to my dual-band nighthawk I honestly couldn't believe the price that I paid (over $400) and what I ended up getting in return. The service was meh. There are way better options out there...save your money.

FWIW - I sold it last week on offerup for $125...$150ish seemed to be the going rate for a used one.
