Target has Tide Original Liquid Laundry Detergent 100 fl oz [target.com] on sale for $11.99 (other versions [target.com] also available). Right now, you get a $5 Target GC when you buy 2 using same day order service. So, if you buy 5 of them for $59.95, you get $10 back in Target GC. In addition, PG has a $15 rebate on purchases greater than $50. So, in the end, you get $25 back in total between Target GC and rebate. You can submit PG rebate here [apfco.com]. (Purchase must be made by 2/9. Rebate must be submitted by 2/23). Of course, you can also just buy 4 x Tide and add a PG item filler eligible for the rebate to make your OOP expense closer to $50 if that's important to you.

Happy Shopping!

If you buy 6 instead of 5, you get another $5 gift card for the sixth one. Ignoring sales tax, my order would be $71.94 - $2.84 RedCard Discount (5%) - $15 Gift Cards -$15 P&G = $39.10 ($6.52 each). Thanks to the OP.

Buying 4 plus $3 filler gets you to 6.5c/oz which is a good.

51 - 25 / 400oz = 6.5c/oz plus you get the filler item

Might have to be careful because sometimes target will reduce the item price by the gift card amount or invoice the gift cards separately.

The rebate excludes trial/travel size so be careful when picking a filler.

Looks like your total needs to be $50 after the coupon/discount so if they see that there were gift cards of $5x2 then the total is around $49 and the rebate might get denied. I think I'm going to order a couple more so the total minus the gift card is more than $50.

The gift cards do not show up as minuses, so you are okay at 5. However, as I noted, you are better off at ordering 6.

unless you're buying for a whole dorm this is 2 year's worth of tide! it can go bad you know
I did not know.

Like most Target offers recently,
this is built around same-day shipping,
and I already burned my free trial.

Looking for another shipping option,
but not seeing any that work.

This is NOT the HE- which means 2x needed, and your machine may not like it...

Frankly, never had an issue- but just a point that I almost missed.

I disagree according to the link on target , it says :
Your account will be charged the amount of the qualifying item reduced by a Target discount in an amount equal to the amount of the gift card, and a separate charge for the amount of the gift card will be assessed.

I almost missed it. Thanks.

They do mention: "For HE full loads, fill to bar 5" in the description. But there is NO HE label anywhere.

Target has gotten crazy with how much you have to buy in order to get the gift cards. It used to be a lot less.

They do have some HE on sale, like the 100 oz Free and Gentle.
