Black wireless is offering a $25/Month ($40/Month originally) plan on T-Mobile Network
it offers the following main features:
  • 50GB 4G Data per Month (128KBPS thereafter)
  • 20GB of additional Hotspot data per month
  • Unlimited Talk and Text
  • International Calling to 50 Countries is included.

it's a multi-month plan so you have to buy it for a minimum of 3 months; other options are 6 months and 1 year.

so minimum you'll be paying would be 25x3 = 75 + Taxes (minus any referral bonus)

Ports (Transfer your mobile number) are prohibited from any T-Mobile Postpaid or T-Mobile Prepaid Service Provider.

"20gb hotspot doesn't impact 50gb" so 70gb total?

Yes. 20GB hotspot is in addition to 50GB of 4G Data. You cannot use 50GB data to have a 70GB hotspot (if that makes sense)

Mvno or biz line reseller?

I guess it's prepaid since they don't ask for business info.

FYI, on anyone thinking of porting over. If you your number is currently on t-mobile or t-mobile MVNO you cannot port over.

Same question I'm wondering about. There is ways to make servers think you're on a desktop when browsing the web and other than that I don't think an ISPs or cell service providers can tell whether your on desktop or mobile.

I don't think that's how its measured though. When you turn on hotspot it has to confirm through you provider to activate so that's probably how they can tell. If you dont have hotspot service, like on a lot of at&t plans, when you try to turn it on, it will not work.

BUT, I'm pretty sure the workaround that is having a rooted phone and certain software that let's you use hotspot even if you dont have it.

So I'm pretty sure, if you really wanted to, get a phone you can root and install the hotspot service that uses your normal data for hotspot, and you could use the 50gb for hotspot as well. Now I might be wrong, but I'll bet you can do that...which makes this deal SUPER SLICK!

I could live on the road with my phones, laptop, and powerbank/charger all in my backpack! Haha love it Big Grin
