I'm thinking, if you took a date and pulled out your little coupon, the mood is already killed.
Read the offer. There's no "little coupon" involved.

You have a lot of anger toward a Mexican restaurant.
You're damn right I do. Last time they barely put any chicken on my burrito bowl and the food was cold! The employee didn't even wrap it right, fell apart upon unwrapping the foil. Unacceptable.

Pancheros > Qdoba > Chipotle
I've only seen one Pancheros and it was constantly empty.

It didn't last very long before closing up

Is Qdoba like Chipotle where it's better to get the bowl v.s. burrito?

Husband has flu. I showed up by myself. Asked the employee at the beginning of the assembly line, she said yes there is a promo. Then at check out they refused and insisted it has to be a couple and kiss in front of them. I'm tempted to ask hubby to come in and sneeze in their face.
Show them their website that says anything

But you didn't need to take out 1/2 of your small town in a blind rage over the QDoba matter. Now you're on the run. I just gotta ask. Was it worth it? I mean it was a mere burrito bowl man....

Well that's your problem, you asked them to wrap your burrito bowl...

It was absolutely worth it to submit a complaint to QDoba corporate. Those crooks at the store thought they were getting one over on me by shorting me on the chicken!!

Have you looked at the prices they cost more
Last time I went it was $8.65 w/tax included and there was definitely more food than Chipotle, and with Guacamole and Queso included. and that was for steak or chicken. the only two I have ever ordered from there. That was last November when I had it. I went two times and it was same price, I checked my bank statement.

I definitely prefer Qdoba to Chipotle. The queso and guac are free at Q!

Honestly I probably eat at chipotle more often because more locations (and I got a $50 gift card for a gift too), But I agree Q is usually a little cheaper.

I have been to some locations though that are not as good as others (both restaurants) so I guess the quality really depends on your specific location.

Fast food places mess up orders all the time. You ask them politely to fix it, or ask for a refund and go elsewhere. You can't let a bad burrito send you to the bad place lol.

Your story also only REALLY says you should be frustrated at that store or even just that employee, maybe even just on that day, or at that time on that day, but certainly not the chain at large (unless it is a pattern of behavior/quality/etc at many locations, but even then it is highly anectdotal).

I suggest getting a few tacos from Chipotle and watching Step Brothers or Happy Gilmore and let it all go.

You're absolutely right. The employee that shorted me on the chicken should be ashamed of themselves. He was over weight and I know damn well that he wouldn't have been happy with the portions he gave me for himself. As a matter of fact I tried to address the smaller portions and he wasn't willing to give me even 1 piece of chicken unless I paid for extra chicken. Cincinnati has a pattern of behavior/quality problem with all of their fast food restaurants. There are plenty of other options, which is why I have taken my business elsewhere. Chipotle is a far superior product if you can find a location that is managed by Hispanics. I just took an edible and will let it go in about 45 minutes. Thank you for the free counseling.
