I like this game as it's a fun concept, but it's horribly asymmetrical. Definitely not for people who want something challenging and balanced.

Halfway through the game, a scenario will play out. I think something like 2/3 of the scenarios will be one player vs. the rest (the betrayal). The luck of that character up to that point makes a massive amount of difference on how the rest of the game plays out. Had a few lucky item pickups? Blast through everyone else. A couple of unlucky rolls before? Isn't strong enough to compete. Many scenarios are just unbalanced in general.

The variety is really fun though, as is the concept and execution.

I just placed another order last night. When that order arrives, I'll just return it to Kohl's with my purchase last week.

I don't know why it's flagged expired? It's showing in stock and the deal still active.

Thank you. I love the mechanics of the game except for the betrayal part. I wish it was just a straight coop horror survival game.

Just want to point out for anyone who doesn't mind waiting, you're going to see this game in every third or fourth Thrift store / garage sale you walk into by 2021. It's sold millions of copies at this point so it's only a matter of time before you pick your copy up for $3 or $4. Of course this is a great value @ $19 - not saying otherwise, but the board game market in general has gotten so saturated that games like this that were sold at several major retailers are the new Monopoly and Trivial Pursuit and will soon be worth very little and picked up super cheap.

Well technically it could be if you just changed the scenario you picked until you got a scenario without a betrayal.

You can say that about almost anything that's sold at major retailers. 4K TVs, mini game consoles and smart devices will end up at thrift stores at a huge fraction of it's cost.

I agree. I bought it and returned after a weekend for the same reason.
