$70 manufacturer's savings is valid 2/10/20 through 2/13/20. While supplies last. Limit 5 per member. Terms & Conditions

Submitted price adjustment as bought for $20 more 21 days ago. Used online request, so hopefully that is good enough.

Awful comparison. Have you heard great things about Telluride or Stinger? Do some study or go back to Kindergarten.
it's a fair example for the reasons you just explained.

KIA is decent and affordable, they also make some higher end units that are really nice.

This klipsch sub is decent and affordable, and klipsch makes some really nice subs. (the 112 for example)

none of their stuff competes with a porshe.

pretty simple.

Tried one out a year or so ago, as mentioned above, very boomy… ended up returning it. Probably not worth trying to get a decent sub for under $400... especially if you want to use it for music. May be tolerable in a home theater but that would be about it.

I currently have the JBL 250p https://www.jbl.com/studio-2-series/STUDIO+250P.html [jbl.com], is this worth the upgrade? The rest of my setup is Klipsch and if its notably better it'd be a good excuse to get a full matching set, lol...

Frequency response on this is meh.. 29 is still common. Lower than that means port noise! Just get dayton 12 or even better is the dayton 15

There's zero need to "match" the brand of sub with speakers. This particular sub is nothing special at all. Stick with what u have.

Pretty sure your Bic digs lower than this Klipsch which pretty much should cost under $200 lol

It definitely looks nice but it'll perform like other similarly priced online subs judging from specs and weight alone.

like a KIA compares to a Porshe.
Agreed. Why are people so sensitive?

Just bought a set of Consumer Reports best rated BT speakers (on sale for $200), but they have only 6" woofers.... this is the perfect complement to those speakers.

Thanks, and repped!

Have a 25$ off 250$ coupon that I didnt use yet. Hmm... Already have the Polk PSW10 which I have been using for about 8 years. Should I change to this?
My neighbor gave me his PSW10 when the driver for my old SW12-II bit the dust a couple of years ago. Got a new Alpine Type-S driver for it, tossed the Polk.

I haven't heard this particular Klipsch model, but I'm fairly certain it's way better than your Polk. Seriously, 50W and it sounds like it's directional, which is weird...

Why? I like both those cars but neither compares to a new 911 or cayenne. I get the comparison. It's like comparing a seiko to an Oris, or a Polk to a Martin Logan. There are levels.
It's not an insult to say this sub isn't as good as an SVS or REL sub. It's just not. Nor is it as expensive.
Good deal for those wanting a brand new budget sub.
