Is this better than the 32" LG 32MA70HY-P that Costco has on sale for $140? I would be using it for my home office (excel/YouTube)

Depends on your needs. Yes it is bigger and it has a display port, but the bigger screen may have a pixel density issue that gives a screen door effect that people fuss about even at 27" 1080p. That lg does not have freesync if that matters to you though the dell will only support amd cards through hdmi. Spend the little bit extra on a bigger monitor if you like, but 27" suits me greatly. My family has this dell model for about 4 years now without issue.

Decent deal if you can deal with 3 main drawbacks:

1. no VESA
2. no DisplayPort
3. 27" is a LITTLE too big for 1080p

DisplayPort is a must if you want to use Gsync with an Nvidia card, it doesn't work via HDMI. And 27" is juuuust a bit too big for 1080p, the biggest I would personally go is 25". But if you're using a Radeon card and you happen to sit a bit farther from your screen than most people....good deal.

Just got one last month ($89 at BBY) and even though it's just 1080p, moving up from a 23" has been a HUGE improvement in eye strain for me working 7-10 hours a day entirely on a screen (coding, databases, spreadsheets etc)

I call it my "large print monitor"

I have had this monitor for over a year now and I just wanted to say that I love it. I find myself even missing it at work. I also have an AMD card so the freesync works for me.

If my computer has a DisplayPort output, could I use an adapter to convert to HDMI and connect this monitor to it? Thank you.

IMO 1080p isn't enough for any monitor 27" or greater

Anyone know the best place to get the Dell 10% coupons? My last two mailers didn't have one on there.

IPS display.
6ms response time.
No Vesa.
Just FYI.
Still a decent deal. You can buy a Vesa attachment for this for like $20
The vesa attachment sucks if you get it aftermarket
