thanks for posting but I do think you should consider not putting g-sync in the title of a monitor that is not a g-sync monitor. For me the difference between a g-sync monitor and freesync monitor is night and day. If I'm incorrect and this has changed significantly please let me know!

EDIT: : As Seps mentioned, when paired with a 1070+ or 2070+ series NVIDIA card this IS capable of G-Sync... HOWEVER, the catch is it must be manually enabled AND every time the monitor goes to sleep OR the computer gets rebooted it must be manually re-enabled.

that's really an interesting requirement but apparently it is g-sync compatible.... thanks for the post if only to educate me on the weird setups that are g-sync compatible!

I have a freesync monitor that I use with g-sync and I don't have to re-enable it all the time. It seems to remember the setting even if my pc goes to sleep or the screen turns off.

I use this monitor with GTX 1080 Ti. Once freesync is on from monitor menu, I never had to turn it on. This one of the best monitors Ive used.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong. I have the LG 32GK850F-B version and the UI to enable freesync is the same as the 650f-B. I never had to manually turn on freesync every time to enable gsync. The settings are saved.

I have this monitor and the G-Sync settings are saved. They do not have to be enabled every time. This was a slick deal when I got it for $230 from Amazon Warehouse. At $300, I probably would've gone for a model with HDR.

per rtings.com, there's pretty much no monitors with worthwhile HDR right now.

HDR just isn't worth it right now and is used as a marketing gimmick currently especially if you're running windows.
