Walmart.com [walmart.com] has Sterilite 30-Gallon Tote Box on sale for $3.50.

This appears to be IN-STORE ONLY. Normally $9.98, now 65% off in select stores thus YMMV.

That is super strange. There is one near me with 6+ that's an open Walmart and another with 2-3 that's also open.

FWIW based on my one experience with a like item in December where Brickseek showed lots of these and I showed up to a store and there were none, I wouldn't chase this down. They're only $10 anyway.

Now I'm picturing a big empty store full of cob webs that's dark and spooky...with six storage bins sitting by themselves in the middle of the floor.

Proof that someone called the store for a price check and the employee hid them.

Yeah, I find that as more of the norm for BS and WM. So many times, a total waste of time.

Just a heads up, wife is currently at a Walmart in NJ and is getting crap about matching the $3.50 price even though their location was listed on the Walmart website as "in stock" since it rang up full price, will update if/when I hear back..

UPDATE: Did not honor price, did not buy

New Year's Resolution: Get rid of stuff.
Reality: Buy things to store stuff.

Probably won't be at that price, but I have a few of these totes. If it is stacked neatly, it doesn't count as stuff! Smilie

I have lots of these (some 10 years old) and lots of the black ones with yellow tops they sell as "heavy duty" at Costco. In my experience these have outlasted the heavy duty ones - and many of mine have been stored out in the weather. Also these will keep things dry in rain - the yellow tops will not and create a huge puddle on top. I now only buy these.

Oddly either 6+ are available or none around my area matching with what people are reporting here.. seems like a strategy to get foot traffic and impulse buys!!
