I thought it was dreadful but I'm a little simple minded. My favorite movies are Matrix, interstellar, I Am Martin, The Rundown....

Trailer looks good - and 95% RED tomato rating.

Can anyone who has seen it chime in?
Not as good as parasite.

It's a mature themes Willie Wonda but with social class upgrade instead of ownership of candy

Great to hear all the positive comments about the movie because in the other blog about the $5 Blu-ray deal, the naysayers wasn't getting this movie at all.

This is one of the top movies on my list for the look and feel and being a videogame and action movie nut that I am, I just love the stage after stage battles to reach the Final Boss storyline. Watching the extras on the Blu-ray, which might be a reason to get that if extras aren't included on digital, I was amazed Snowpiercer is based on a French graphics novel series and being a comic book guy, it made me appreciate the movie even more.

I still didn't watch "Parasite" yet but given how much I love this movie and another from this director called "The Host", I can only imagine how incredible "Parasite"is given its Oscar wins.

I also have seen it. Like the others have said, if you like dystopian films, this one is great and definitely worth watching.

As an aside, there's a fun (albeit probably false) theory that this is a spiritual successor to Willy Wonka. I don't want to say more without risking spoiling though. So if anyone reading this has seen the movie, look up the theory on YouTube.

Yes, it's a good movie & worth watching.
*Not the same storyline but the same dystopia of Hunger Games taking place in a train.

The best part about this movie is the theory that it's a sequel to Willy Wonka. Look it up.

Great movie. Really enjoyed it.

A buddy of mine suggested that he felt it could have been the sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Came here to point this out.

This is effectively the best video game movie there is because while it isn't based on a video game, the progression is hilariously similar to a video game.

There's a few good twists as well, and the acting in the movie is top notch (many times purposefully over the top). Tilda Swinton was born for her role

Thought the overall concept was fine, but the movie is just ridiculous with the constant whiplashing between seriousness and absurdity.

Also, can anyone who's seen it explain why Tilda Swinton took out her denture after being taken hostage?

Not just you. Definitely over hyped by people who think a metaphor for class is somehow profound.
