Some Examples...

Keep in mind....Integrated Graphics will use some of your RAM, which is why running the bare minimum is iffy. Further, most folks don't need 1TB of storage....especially on a very low end system. They would be better served with an SSD that is 10x to 100x faster, even if smaller in size for the same price.

Yeah...It's an low end laptop for $300 so you can't be too picky, but if getting this for a non-power user, find a config that swaps the 1TB HDD for an SSD and they will be much happier. Adding RAM is an easier task in most cases.....but definitely research any given laptop...Some can add ram via a simple access port....others you have to nearly completely dissemble the laptop to add the ram....I cant state about this one....

I always wrestle with these deals, because my first thought is "wow, a 10th gen i3 at a pretty fair price". Then I realize I will absolutely have to up the RAM and, as suggested earlier, might swap out the HDD for an SSD - and suddenly it's not such a steal anymore.

128 is way too small. Won't be able to fit much of anything on that drive

I agree it's small but I'd take a 128gb ssd over a 1tb hdd as a system drive any day of the week

Intel is scamming customers of the low end to think the latest gen is all that much better then the last two gens.. it's not. Certain features and capabilities will ALWAYS be only available in much more expensive chips such as 4k video playback via hdmi, etc..
