My plasma had 600hz and I can tell you it makes a huge difference. Replaced with a Vizio P series and sports do not look the same.

Sure I get that everything is shot at, 30 or 60 fps but that refresh rate does something. I cannot explain it but my eyes sure can.
ugh , not even close to the same spec

I trust CB more than a rebate. Look up the stories on SD rebates.

I'll say this before people respond that SD rebates are EZ, there are enough reports of people having problems to be wary.

I personally believe that companies choose rebates over CB, knowing that they won't have to pay out all the rebates. Usually it's human error. Whether it be the buyer, the rebate processor, the postal worker. Either way, I trust CB more.
Hi,

If you are having any issues with your rebate please make sure to email us rebates@slickdeals.net. Dell rebates have a very high rate of approval. You always get notification emails throughout the whole process. Even if there is anything missing, we reach out twice asking for the missing info. All of the directions are posted on the original post. One has to simply place an order through the link and mail 2 documents within 30 days: rebates form (link posted on the op) and invoice (link posted on the op). There will be 0 issues if these simple steps are followed.

ummm, this already an e-gift card to use towards another Dell purchase, therefore there won't be any cash-back most likely. Therefore if you don't want to take both the gift card and the SD rebate, then choose to do one of the other. Heck, you are on such a good rant, just ask SD instead of giving a $200 rebate, to buy the TV and have it delivered to your house, acquire the correct mount and come install it; and throw in a lifetime subscription to netflix
try again in english please. you get both the Dell gift card and the SD rebate on this TV

What is your point? TVs today only come with 60hz and 120hz panels. There is nothing else. Plasma only added the "600hz" for marketing purposes, because LED makers had it on theirs. Plasma was a different technology, there for every plasma set had "600hz".

Anything today listed as above 120hz is horse s#i7.

can you really do SD and someone else. I dont think so? Thus 200 from SD better than 15% back from others.. I think?
You can do either the SD rebate or a CB site. Whichever you choose, you can get all the Dell GC, including the $275 one and the Rewards $30-$60 one.

The "600 Hz" in plasma displays isn't the image refresh rate, it's just the rate at which the plasma is excited to maintain illumination. It's like calling an LCD display "960 Hz" if that's what the backlight PWM frequency is set at. 100% advertising meant to confuse people.

Are the Dell eGCs that are included in deals like this one very market-able on like ebay for resale? If you could sell the Dell gc for $200 and effectively make this $600, that seems super slick!

other similar tv specs on rttings um8070 and um7300
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/um8070
https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/um7300

things I don't like are the low nits 230ish to 350ish, so hdr brightness of screen may disappoint.
and black levels and local dimming is hardly there or non-existent or effective like other premium tvs. I'd just spend more and stick with vizio pqx or Sony x900f, 950g for many many hundred more. Maybe even TCL 75" r617 to keep budget down.

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my post.

You state zero issues, does that include the aforementioned possibilities of a courier error or rebate processor error? Are you saying that there is zero possibility of human error? Errors don't only happen on the buyers side.

We take human errors into consideration and hence each claim is reviewed multiple times by various people. We also always take into consideration various scenarios that can affect the rebate (eg: back-ordered item, delayed mail, etc). Lastly, we always here to help with any concerns or questions you have prior, during or after your rebate submission.

This is really tempting at this price.
I need a TV for my basement. Was thinking a 65" but hard to pass on this.
