if you don't need the hub (Home Base 2) with this deal, would you like to sell to me? PM with the shipped price, thanks!
What's a fair price for a home base 2? I want this but don't need another home base. I jumped in on the last 3 cam eufycam2 deal.

has anyone taken one of these apart to see what kind of battery is inside?
"not replaceable" or not designed to be replaced? the image on amazon looks just like 2 18650 cells.
i was thinking the same !

Same here. Will need to wait until they sell the doorbell without the home base, and with white faceplate option

how long does it take to pull up live footage on these?

Long like Ring doorbells or really quick like Nest hello? I used a Ring 2 doorbell for about a year and tossed it due to how long it would take to pull up a live feed or when someone had rang the doorbell.

Ugh... I wish this came without the homebase at a cheaper option. I have no need for it.

Is the home base compatible with the first generation wired doorbell?

I got the same deal and I have base already. Are you still interested in buying the base?

can you access the homebase without port forwarding (e.g. through their app)? i am using mobile internet and so it doesn't have a private IP address. if so, i might go all in on their camera and doorbell system for surveillance. i've been meaning to run POE wire all over my attic for an NVR camera system but this would save a lot of time.

also, can i use my native chime? the other eufy doorbell pre-home base didn't allow that and had a separate chime (edit: looks like still no - that sucks - i like my doorbell chime)

there's no reason why you can't. but nest won't interface with the base.

Whomever has answer may be able to also comment... I see posts eluding to access driven through through internet and their systems (even while storage is local). Is there a local 192.168.x.x setup to directly access footage/settings and device, or is it 'down' if internet is down? I can't imagine it not.

Thanks for your answer. But don't you connect both to the same ring chime?

I bought this product and received it about 11 days ago. Work as expected. I could try and answer some of the questions about it, if people have any.
Ooh thanks, Skullflame, please do an Amazon video review if you get time. I'm comparing and contrasting this and Ring. How do you like it so far?
