Just wasted a bit of time trying to figure out the website. Had trouble with fields accepting text, virtual assistant should be a live person with chat, no field to enter code.
What would be really helpful is a list of routes where the BOGO works. I give up I'll drive or fly.

By the way the smelly, rowdy group have moved from bus and train travel to air travel. Was on a LAX to JFK a few weeks ago and could hardly handle the smell. Several asked to move to different seats. The crew complied as they knew it was bad.

Great timing. We were just discussing a trip to KC so the kiddos can visit lego land. And with a train obsessed 5 year old, we had already planned on using Amtrak. Glad I came across this thread before purchasing!

Amtrak is fine. Trips to NYC are super easy and stress free, and the trip home is even better. The trains are clean, you can bring your own food/drinks, baggage allowance is insane, power next to your seat, lots of leg room, bathrooms are small but fine for the job.

Can you buy 2 tickets for yourself for a round trip - for the price of one?
According to Terms and Conditions, it says "The companion and full fare paying passenger must travel together on the same itinerary and have tickets issued together" so most likely no.
