This deal was fairly popular in late December, so I thought I'd post that it's back. Refurbished sold directly by Bissell. Other items over $25 are also eligible for the 15% off.

I bought this on earlier$85 deal and received pet pro model. I have both Hoover n cross wave. Like the cross wave better with longer cord, much better at cleaning embossed vinyl patterns n grout lines and dries better.

Had this vacuum
Pros: all in one solution
no need to get out a bucket to mop
Decently light
Not bulky
Decent cleaning power
Cons:all in one solution it does both jobs well but not excellently
Pita needs cleaning after every use including filer or it loses significant suction
Brush gets clogged up with hair quickly I have 4 dogs one who sheds heavily if I skipped a day it would clog the vacuum
Died just after a year

While I probably needed something more catered towards pets I could definitely see how this vacuum could work for other people who need light cleaning more consistently. personally though having it died just out of warrenty was most concerning. Might be worth a buy at this price but not msrp also look into extended warranty if possible

This is great for area rugs, but yiu need the hardwood floor attatchment andnneed to sweep before using otherwise things get ugly. Also, using vinegar and water works great on linoleum.

IMO this is a great deal. We got ours new near BF for ~160 and it has replaced our hard floor scrubbing Scoobas since you don't have to pick up all the toys/rugs nor worry about it getting stuck under furniture. Our house is probably 70% hard wood and this is a lifesaver. I'd probably opt for a deal on the battery powered version though as managing the cord is a drag but the price is far higher.

Not regarding this vac but for anyone looking to get a multi-floor cleaner like this to avoid the Hoover floormate jet cordless. The brush on it barely hits the floor and has a hard time even picking up the water/cleaner it sprayed down. I returned mine and waiting for the Tineco iFloor 3 or the Tineco S3 to be released. There both announced an on the manufacture website but not for sale yet. I have personally seen the S3 in action, its incredible. Anyways just wanted to post this for anyone looking or considering the hoover floormate prob. one of the worst products I've bought in a very long time.

Got one 4 months ago. Works great on laminate floors.

Solid recommendation!

I own one of these and I am on my 4th. The motors keep burning up. They replace them under warranty without me having to send back the broken one but I wish I had one that worked without breaking. Also, mine stink even though I clean them after use.

I bought one last year from Amazon. It is good for light cleaning tasks. We used it with tile and hardwood and does an average job. We ended up buying the "Oreck Commercial ORB550MC" that does a much better job at scrubbing the floor
Much better job at vacuuming? Soaking up extra water?

While the oreck looks neat and would be good for a deep cleaning it's great that this vacuums and removes excess water all in one step/

I wash, spray with a disinfectant then leave all the parts disassembled to dry before re-assembling the crosswave.

I think drying out is the key as since I started doing this I get no foul oders.....

I have this. It works ok. It's best to use it regularly cause it can't get the tough stains out. Also a little bit of streaking. Bought it at Costco new for 200. At 89 this is a great deal!
If you are using the multisurface brush with the firm hard bristles try the hardwood floor brush. Helped me with streaking:
