Bought the 65 inch version and it's garbage. Avoid if you care anything about picture quality. One of those TV's that no matter how much you mess with it the picture is dull and colors are awful.

I picked up this TV over Black Friday 2019 for $279 at Target. As others have stated, picture is mediocre, but it works well enough in my opinion. With the latest firmware, the tv natively supports Apple AirPlay which was a big selling point for me. The biggest issue with the TV is the crappy network card; wired ethernet isn't gigabit and the WiFi can't do 5ghz. If you can afford it, I'd recommend buying a better model, but for the price it's a good value.

"Seller refurbished" by VipOutlet? Not sure I trust it but I may be wrong.
Ditto I've had a very bad $1800 experience with these guys, lesson learned. Thanks to Ebay I got my money back.

VIP Outlet is hit or miss. I think they just sell returned items from Walmart/Sams/Target
They rate their items A or B. A is supposed to be functionally and cosmetically like new, where as B has blemishes.
Ive had "A" items that were trashed and junk and "B" items that looked unused, so take their rating system with a large grain of salt.
If you find doing returns a hassle then id say pass on any VIPOutlet deal.

I'm tempted to get their Vizio 55" M558-G1 [ebay.com]. It is $550 new at BestBuy [bestbuy.com] or $356 refurbished after coupon.
This is a Vizio M series 55" same seller for $260 after 15% coupon

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vizio-55-Class-4K-2160P-Smart-LED-TV-M557-G0/123968248907?epid=3031819143&h... [ebay.com]

Looks like a better deal. I have a 60" Samsung KU6300 from a few years ago though and really like the picture.

Edit: And another Vizo M series 55". I don't know the difference between them.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vizio-55...78f9d8a402

Looks like the first one might be better with 16 local dimming zones.

"Seller refurbished" is the lowest level of refurbishment. it usually means the item was wiped down and the reset button pushed.

Cheapest deal for 4k 55 tv? Looking to replace old 52in monster sony in bedroom. Hopefully this would look better than a Sony from 2010.

Vipoutlet is owned by Walmart and sells broken and used crap, period. They only sell Walmart store returns, these are not actually refurbished and certainly are not authorized by any manufacturer. They sell junk, but all the suckers that buy from them will find that out the hard way. Read through the thousands of negative feedbacks vipoutlet has on eBay if you don't believe me. Terrible seller that is clearly getting a push from eBay and slickdeals on this "deal".
