What! TORCHLIGHT 2 is available on the switch? Awesome. Had so much fun playing 1 and 2. Getting this just so my kids can play it mobile. Thanks OP!
I was hoping that Torchlight 2 was couch co-op/multiplayer - I'll stick with Diablo

I had a lot of fun with iconoclast. On regular difficulty it was pretty easy but I enjoyed the gameplay a lot.

Battle Princess Madelyn is a spiritual successor to ghouls n ghosts/ghosts n goblins.
This is definitely the one that caught my eye. Grabbing this for sure, seems perfect for playing on the Switch in portable...

Any recommendations for family games that would be good for a 4 and 7 year old? We mostly play Mariokart, tennis, just dance, lego games, etc.

Mario party (boardgame with simple yet fun mini games), mario rabbids (a very easy xcom clone), rayman, sonic mania plus (caltures the spirit of the old genesis games).

Just bought a switch to try it out. The one thing I noticed is most games seem to be rehashes of an older game in hd. And other games that go on sale seem like those indie games they always throw in the humble bundle games on steam. Is there anything you guys recommend that's console exclusive that isnt smash, mario or zelda related? Just looking for something fresh to try on this console.
Xenoblade is fantastic if you like RPGs. Be sure to always play in docked mode when you're getting to explore a new area. They're so beautiful and unique it's worth making sure you have the HD quality.

Hob and Iconoclasts are both really fantastic games. I just finished Hob yesterday from the last sale. Very chill Zelda-like exploration/puzzle game with a little light combat here and there.

Iconoclasts is like Metroid more than Castlevania. Super Metroid in particular. Just a different setting and story.

Anyone own the outlast games? Is one better than the other? Should you play the first before the second?

I bought Runbow the other day. It's really a lot of fun for multi-player.
Totally worth the 3 bucks and then some.
We have already got several hours out of it, and lots of fun screaming and shouting as we die numerous times.
