Missed out on the Ryobi router combo - any chance they restock quantity before EOD, or think the deal is depleted?

I'm fairly certain if Home Depot felt that way they wouldn't allow it.... but if you want to take offense on behalf of a billion dollar company.... um.... it's a semi-free country, have at it....

$22 USB Adapter https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../206936434

$10 LED LIGHT https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGI.../205907832

The 9 Ah Octane battery w rapid charger is $9 more than a recent front page but still excellent value with lifetime free replacement that does not require return shipping. It is Bluetooth enabled with security lock out , sound and light find function. 5 hour recharge time.

I've seen a mod where a 100 watt USB C-PD pigtail adapter controller is wired to the USB adapter to harness the full power of the battery to charge Macbook and other C-PD devices. Doing so will obviously void the warranty on the Rigid USB adapter.

Hello, I'm new to tools, what's the difference between the circular saw 5-1/2" vs the 6-1/2"? Is it just the blade that's different?

Pretty good deal for the light, I'm going to bite on that. I have a lot of the tools and tons of batteries, will be nice having an extra rechargeable light

And these preachy comments will never stop being annoying to me. Wake up. If HD has an issue with it, they would have changed the ability to do the "trick" long ago.

The fact is, it's been going on forever, and everyone is aware of it, including HD. They don't change it because they have likely sold millions of dollars in tools because of this "trick" that otherwise would likely not have been sold.

More importantly, it has the added benefit to HD of sucking in customers into their Ryobi system, who then spend even more money on Ryobi products. HD would be crazy to stop it. Even at the greater "discounts," it's a gold mine for HD's Ryobi sales.
Yeah and in Massachusetts a 12 year old can marry a 60 year old if they have a note from their parents. Just because there aren't specific rules against something doesn't make it less scummy.

Impact wrench couldnt get a caliper bolt off last week. Granted the angle was off and I had to use an adaptor, but it still didnt work even at the highest setting. A bit disappointed.

Does anyone know if the return partial thing works the other way around? I need some of the tools but not the batteries? If you can return the battery and charger, what is the price of the return on them? Or in this case, the 2 Ridgid tool combos, can one be returned? Or are the 2 tool combos for ridgid packaged together?

Has anyone tried going into the store and bringing the router and batteries to the service desk to get them to "price adjust"? They have them in stock near me but I can't buy the $99 combo online.

The rated torque is for forward only. Reverse is lower, unlike impact wrenches optimized for automotive work where they prioritize breakaway torque. Ryobi says this was designed for 'woodworking'. Think lag bolts. I've only used it on lug nuts on my own cars and it's worked so far for me, even if it wasn't designed for that purpose.

Also, the power is highly dependant on the battery you use. You'll get the best performance with non-HP 4AH Black or HP 4/6/9AH. It will perform worse with any other battery, including 4AH Grey.

That was a no go at my store. There is a distinction between online and local inventory, so they take a hit if they mark down their inventory. They did say they could special order items that were back ordered, but seems like ymmv. Tricky here in HI too because they won't ship batteries to us.

Yeah, it was the adapter robbing your torque. I've taken probably a hundred calipers off and never needed anything more than a socket and typical breaker bar.

That doesn't sound right at all. Maybe for an impact driver, but an impact wrench designed for woodworking? I think someone got the two tools mixed up.

But yes on the batteries. Higher power draw tools can be handicapped by small batteries which can't produce enough amperage.
