Is this a good Verizon phone? It says it works on Verizon's network, but does it support all the bands to get maximum compatibility?
it supports all vzw's lte bands. Can't remember if it works on cdma, though it has band support there as well

where did you buy a new unlocked 6T for $250?
Got it from ebay. It was T-Mobile locked so I had to do a manual unlock and buy the dual sim slot separately.

I can't say this enough... DO NOT BUY FROM CARRIERS. Always buy direct from the manufacturer when possible: Google, OnePlus, Apple, Samsung. And ensure it's an Unlocked factory version; US model version for those in the states.
Only problem with that is you may net get some network features with a non carrier unlocked phone. Like missing wifi calling or even VoLTE to name a few. Also unlocked will most likely take longer for updates. And may not even get some. Coming from an owner of an unlocked Note 9 that's run into this issue with several carriers and missing out.

That's very YMMV and Samsung in a rare case for you... because Unlocked ALWAYS get updates ahead of Carriers - Apple, Google, OnePlus, Essential, etc. Carriers are the ones that slow down the pace of updates, because they have to internally vet them as an additional step after the manufacturer releases them.

I have yet to have an issue with Wifi Calling/VoLTE (Verizon) with my Unlocked phones. But I have heard that be a potential issue, I think it's way overblown. The reduced bloatware and better mfg-based apps (Photo, Messages, etc) are much more important than anything carrier-based, IMO.

Carriers generally have better subsidized pricing and financing versus the manufacturers, but that's because you're agreeing to restrictions, carrier roms/bloatware, and contracting to their services.

Once you get yourself off the carrier's "Update Cycle" and monthly payment scheme, you'll save significantly in the long run and have minimal plan expenses.

I have the one plus 6 with 128gb ram and love it. However one issue I have is the aggressive RAM management. It shuts down YouTube and Chrome and other apps aggressively so I lose videos after not too long of a time.

My Moto z force and some cheaper Moto E4/5 doesn't seem to be so aggressive and I can pick up where I was even after days.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Why is it not taxed? I'm not complaining but even used phones on eBay or Swappa are taxed.

I'm debating this or waiting on the Pixel 4a. I have an Essential phone currently......not sure what to do.
Essential is awesome. I have it.. Got s9 but then hated the bloatware and decided to go back to essential

Finally bought one since I was expecting the price to go down to $500. I prefer the 7T instead of the Pro, the flat panel is better for me (less accidental touches like the S8) The additional earbuds are a plus, but I'm selling those on Ebay as soon as the arrive.

I'm currently using the Xperia 5 but I'm returning the phone since I don't like how thin it is... it feels weird in my hands.

Thanks SD! Smilie

Are all new smartphones doesn't have memory card slot anymore? I can't live with no memory expansion, using s8 with 64gb n 128 SD card but it's almost full now, I need 512 card for upgrade
