Disney tickets need to be assigned to a specific name when purchasing. I believe for special locality based tickets (Florida residents, SoCal residents, etc.) they make you show ID the first time you use the tickets.

Good deal. Paid $371 per person after all fees for 3-day Park Hopper with Max Pass last month via TicketsAtWork and that seems to be the lowest they go. This is right in that area after all the fees.

Nope.

This changed a few years ago, now everyone who uses a So Cal ticket needs a So Cal ID.

same for FL too?

Also military discount is still cheaper right? I think they make you get a 3 day hopper though and vet has to go with (I'd rather send wife and kids and relax at hotel Wink )

Or i'd rather buy a disney resort deal so i can come and go as we please during the day..

I have to remember this as we may buy some. We're getting married in October and family is coming, so may save some money to buy now and use later.

Good prices for Knott's too.

Knotts sucks. All the kids rides are super outdated. I could go in for free and still wouldn't go.

Stop going and they will have to lower their prices. Keep going and it keeps going up.

Did you feel the park hopper was worth it, as opposed to 1 park per day?

The 3 day So Cal 1 park per day at $185 is an extremely good deal, even if you only go 2 days.

Note the SoCal discount ends in late May 2020 so guess we will be heading out earlier than later, which is fine.

Last December on one date DL was so crowded they stopped letting people in. Now wouldn't that suck if you drove all the way there?

Make you want to punch Marty Moose right in the nose.

Still ridiculously expensive. Will go when it's <$50/day.

Haven't gone yet. But given that the price increase wasn't THAT much more, I felt like it was worthwhile to have the option to change parks. Going to Disneyland isn't something that we do often (first time going, actually) so it made sense to optimize our time there should the need arise.

I don't think the hopper is worth it. In fact it's kind of a ripoff because of how much time it takes to transition thru the parks. During peak times it can take 30 min or more just to get through the line going from Disneyland to CAA or vice versa. So disney charges you more money AND you're not riding rides while you change parks.

I'd only consider a hopper if you have only one day to go to the park. Otherwise, recommend you stick with one park a day to maximize the attractions you can experience.

Totally agree. Disneyland is great but WAY overpriced. A family trip would cost me ~$5K. I can think of a hundred other places I'd rather go for that kind of money.
