I careless how cheap it is after rebate. Rebates are dealbreakers.
Agree rebates dont always work then stuck paying more, in the end its a bait and switch as they are hoping enough people dont send in rebate or dont use the silly prepaid card or worse yet they "never receive" the paperwork

I'm guessing because it's not 144hz/gsync/freesync, and not advertising a BS 1ms response time figure (response time figures are almost always marketing wank).

In the end, this is a high quality display that will work well for basically anything, including gaming.
Not really. It's too big for gaming at 60hz. The response time and the refresh rate would bottleneck anyone with a decent PC. Maybe console gaming? 27" @ 144hz and 1440p is the sweet spot for a mid-high range PC.

I'm still befuddled at the thought of who pays $400 for a monitor (which retails for almost $700) just to surf the web/work applications. To each their own, I guess.

This monitor is fine for gaming. I utilize two of these for FPS and RTS. It's great.

Well dang. I was going to pull the trigger on this (even with the hated mail in rebate) but I can't check out :-(.

Thank you for your patience while we observe Shabbat. You may still add items to your cart or wish list to check out later.
Not a dead deal... but throw it in your cart, don't talk yourself out of it, and try to remember to complete your order tomorrow :-/

Have had this monitor for several years. Awesome for music composing and video editing. Never going back to non-ultrawide. I'd get this for my wife but can't get her to give up 2 monitors.

Can we overclock the dell monitors.
I am getting 29inches dell monitor for less than 40$.
Should I go with it or buy a new 144hz monitor for 140$

Always make copies of the paperwork you send in and use certified delivery with tracking in case they try to pull something.

Reading the rebate form details it states the following dates (which are past)

The date of purchase indicated on the proof of purchase is day one. The first possible claim date is seven (7) days afterwards or September 23, 2019 and the final claim date (for a Promotion Product purchased on October 15, 2019) is no later than 11:59pm (CST) on December 21, 2019. If Claims are submitted after this claim window, they will be automatically deemed invalid.

Sounds like you don't have to send in the UPC. Possible to sell on Ebay and ship direct to customer and cash in rebate?

man rebate killed the deal
When did SD start listing "after rebate" prices? It used to be refreshingly straight forward, this sucks.
