Tivo Mini Vox is normally $179.99 and rarely seems to go on sale unless it's refurbished. This deal is for a new unit and includes their WiFi adapter.

There are some deals on other Tivo products as well but I thought this Mini discount was worth posting.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Just placed an order for mini vox only and it went through. The trick is to desync the WiFi adapter and the mini Vox. Been able to reproduce this 3 times. Seems to work more regularly under high CPU load (have some game or something running in background).
1) Play with quantities until you get the values to desync (no longer the same). You're specifically looking for when the quantity for the Mini Vox is higher than the Wifi-Adapter. I've done this by mashing up quantity on the Mini Vox and four or 5 times and then down quantity on the Wifi adapter a few times and then waiting and see where thing settle.
2) Change warranty from limited to 2 or 3 year service (you'll be able to change this back).
3) For some reason doing this moves the Tivo Mini to underneath the Wifi adapter in cart (originally it is listed first).
4) Click remove on the Wi-Fi adapter. Doing this will remove an equal quantity of Vox and Wifi adapaters. Since you're quantity of Vox is higher than adapter, you'll be left with Mini Vox in your cart.
5) Change quantity back to 1 (or however many you want). Change warranty back to limited.
6) Checkout for 119.99 + tax.

Note quantity in upper right corner that shows total item in your cart should be odd (i.e. 2 tivo vox and 1 adapter) before adding warranty to desync is attempted.

I use a Tivo setup and my Roamio OTA is struggling and I was waiting for a lifetime transfer deal to come around to upgrade to the Edge. How has the VOX experience worked for people?
Could be hard drive is on last legs slowing down the machine?

I should have been clearer, the DVR part of the Roamio works great. What struggles is when I use it for just about anything else. Almost like the new apps demand more processing power than the Roamio can handle.

I use a Firestick 4K, Roamio, and a Harmony hub remote. Seamless experience. The built in apps on Roamio just don't get updated and low processing power to begin with.

The wifi adapter requires TE4. If you connect the Mini through ethernet or MOCA you can run TE3.
Thanks for the clarification.

I tried this before posting the deal and again just now, but it empties my entire cart every time. Did you truly get this to work?

Anyone know how YouTube performs on this? I'm desperate to replace my Mini cause YouTube constantly glitches and sometimes crashes requiring a reboot.
I also can confirm it works great - the old mini was very slow (not just youtube, but any app, particularly plex) and it's like night and day with the 4k/vox mini. Only issues I sometimes get is the first ad before some youtube videos starts out a bit jittery (for a second or two), but I don't care (it's an ad) and it only happens sometimes with that first ad

I tried to buy the remote for $37 but TIVO wants to charge $12.50 for shipping which just so happens to be equal to the regular price of the remote I want. Sad!

I have the old TiVo mini and bridge it with a extra router I have in the bedroom.
And using a TiVo Bolt Vox in the LR with TE4 I think.
Using Google Hub as main router and the pucks.
Big difference going to the Mini Vox?
And the WiFi adapter is really going for $60?!

If you don't use any streaming apps, you likely won't notice any difference. If you do use streaming apps (youtube, plex, vudu, etc), you'll definitely notice a speed increase; using youtube/plex/etc on the old mini was so slow I just used a roku and switched inputs, but once I got a mini vox, I only use the roku for disney+ now

I used a Chromecast Ultra to stream in the old bedroom plasma. That's hooked up with the old TiVo mini.
Thanks

Most of the issues with TE4 have been fixed. If you sign up to have the latest TE4 build pushed (through tivo forums) it's been a much better experience than TE3 (originally it sucked).

Same here. I just tried adding a standalone plus the bundle then removing the bundled one. Same outcome. Oh well.
