Love some thier cases. I have a matx aluminum one for HTPC/VR and it also help dissipate heat generated caused from being in a tight wooden media center.

It's not about RPM, it's about CFM. That's the amount of air it moves. If the RPM is low and the CFM high, it's really efficient but usually that means it's bigger and moves more air through bigger blades in order to compensate for the low RPM. I can probably write a book about this, but that's the gist.
