Weird that this is more expensive than the C9 on 65 inch, but a lot cheaper at 75.
What is weird about a 75" LCD TV being more expensive than a 65" OLED but cheaper than a 77" OLED?

(sigh) I want this but I DON'T want the OneConnect box. I have my wall fully wired with HDMI, power, etc. - so the OneConnect actually makes this worse because I have to buy/run more cabling, not less...

Q90R and all Samsung's do not have Dolby Vision. Only the 8k Samsung's have HDMI 2.1 However this Q90R does support HDR 10+ to make up for no Dolby Vision
Dolby vision blows HDR out of the water. Hopefully they add it in the future

Is Q90r worth the premium over x950g or Q80r?

The Sony 900F 75 has dropped to $1498. Will you see a $1000 difference in the Samsung? I seriously doubt it.

RaizonIs Q90r worth the premium over x950g or Q80r?
More local dimming zones than the Q80 and the one connect box I think are biggest differences over the Q80r. It also has a more attractive profile from the side. Sony offers less local dimming zones too (than the Q90), worse viewing angles and worse reflections (then both the (Q80 and Q90). Sony offers Dolby vision and truer colors out of the box. I was thinking to go with x950g or Q80r, whichever was cheaper in the next month, but this is too good to pass up I pulled the trigger.

BTW - when you go to the trouble of hiding wiring - do it right and install a big conduit so you can future proof it.

For me with my current TV and room I have a bright room during the day, and can have reflections at night from my kitchen. The Q80 and Q90 are good for a bright room and have some of the best reflection performance to date. That's worth $1000 for me, also its going to be a few years before the 77" (or bigger) OLED comes down enough in price.
