I bought it a month ago and returned it in less than 3 days. Screen and color look really sharp at this price range. Battery is a beast. The only and the biggest downside is it's sluggish and slow. I would recommend you invest 120 more on the 10.2" iPad.

I got lucky and bought a Samsung Tab S4 open box for $155. If I had to do it again I would skip the cheap new android tablets and just buy a used older flagship
I like this strategy for phones and it seems like it would be good for 10" tablets.

The problem is that Samsung hasn't made a decent 8" tablet in 4.5 years ( S2, which is stuck on Nougat).

I bought this Lenovo M8 FHD when it was on sale a few weeks ago. It's fine. Certainly worth the price. I've watched Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and haven't noticed quality issues on either, given the screen size.

why would spend more money on a cheap tablet? what do you want to protect it from?
This is beyond nonsensical.

Cheap or expensive shouldn't matter for cases. Just because it wasn't a lot of money, people should just throw it away after a drop?

One concern of mine when I look for an Android tablet is how fast it charges. Does this fast charge at all?

So would you choose this or the Amazon Fire HD 10 for mainly (color) comic books/reading books in general? And also, little else besides streaming and occasionally watching downloaded movies and perhaps some
music (through a BT speaker)...? Besides the Fire being about 2 inches bigger, if anyone has any input I'd be glad to hear it.
I sold my Amazon Fire HD 10 on ebay in exchange of this Lenovo and I cannot be happier with this decision. This should answer your question.

I really wanted the 3gb Tab A but it doesn't seem to go down in price. I tried the 2gb version from Costco and was disappointed in it - even for just web surfing and PDF reading. I snagged this Lenovo deal today. Hope I like it more than 2gb Tab A.

Why can't he be? My old Android phone from a while ago had HDMI out. I can't remember if it was a native HDMI jack, or if I used a USB to HDMI dongle. But either way, I was able to output to HDMI.

Have anyone try playing movie media files (.avi, .mkv, .mp4, etc) on it or off the micro SD card? I've been looking to get one solely to do this. Thanks.
Could probably use VLC or MXPlayer as your media player. I typically don't have a problem with either one.
